Checking Sql server Database



Some important points which should be consider while developing or testing the database. This points will used to improve the performance of the database.

1. Checking the index is implemented in the table, if else then implement the indexes in a table.
2. Validate the table column names and the data stored in the columns. The values in a column should be validate.
3. Check the constraints which are implemented in the table. The constraints are the important think for data integrity.
4. Check all the database objects like Stored procedures, Tables, Triggers, functions and all. Check all objects with its outputs.
5. Check the Front end and Back end data types and the field lengths. This testing will done only after developed application.
