Many PHP scripts for download requires the MySQL database is designed so that data can be stored for use in the script itself. This may seem like a daunting task a novice. But do not worry, only the hardest part is not knowing what to do and that is what we are here to teach you.

It is assumed that you already have a web hosting and administration, such as access to cPanel, Plesk, cPanel, etc. We use this lesson as it is usually installed on Linux servers. But most of the major hosting control panels are the same principles can be used here.

Sign up and create a database
The first step is to log the user's cPanel for your domain, your command is housed together. This can be done by going to http://domain.com/cpanel and replace domain.com with your domain name. Then enter the hosting of the username and password that you received from your service provider.

If you're logged in, scroll down the page and click on MySQL Databases icon in the database wizard. This is a place where we create the database itself. Enter the name of the database "New Database" field and click Next Step.

If you go for more than one database name should be descriptive, to help keep all organized. For example, you can save the name of the database used to eCom. Cpanel add prefix your username and password as the main hosts its final name of the database can eventually look like: username_ecomm.

Add MySQL User
Next, we need to add a user can use and modify the database. Enter the username you want to use the database and create or Create a password function to create a password. Make sure your password is the letters, numbers and symbols to make it safe as possible. Your username matches the name of the database that hosts the username prefix added to it. For example, username_dbuser. If these values are entered, click Next Step to continue.

Give User Privileges
Now we give the user privileges so that they can actually work on a database. Typically, you select all the privileges in the box and it is the most satisfactory script installations. If you do not want the user to modify the database, but you still have the opportunity to examine the documents you want to select the cell and so on. Click Next Step, click Finish.

Congratulations!
You have just created a database and user, you can now use your PHP Scripts. Many of these scripts is a config file that contains the settings for the default database name and user. You just open the file in your favorite text editor like Notepad and change the default values that you just created. This allows you to install the boards need to run the script itself.
