With the following code we can get the data keys value of the row on the check changed event of a check box inside a gridview.
protected void CheckBox1_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
CheckBox chk = (CheckBox)sender;
GridViewRow gr = (GridViewRow)chk.Parent.Parent;
lblmsg.Text = GridView1.DataKeys[gr.RowIndex].Value.ToString();
//lblmsg.Text = "Hello";
}
