How to get help from Mentors ?
Mentors are experts in one or more fields (expert in the features of this site, expert in various technologies etc)
You can have only 1 active Mentor at a time. If you try to select a new Mentor, your previous mentor will become inactive for you.
You can select a mentor only if that mentor is approved by the webmaster and the mentor is currently accepting new members.
How to select a Mentor ?
To select a mentor, go to Mentors page and find the mentor you like. There will be a button in the bottom of mentor details saying "Accept this person as your Mentor".
Click on the button to join. You will be redirected to a page where you can provide your background information, what kind of help you are looking for, what are your contact details etc. Complete the details and submit.
The mentor will review your application and approve or reject. If you are approved, you can see the contact details provided by the Mentor in the mentor details page. You will be able to get help from the Mentor through Email, Chat, Phone or In Person depending on the options selected by the Mentor
How to switch to a new Mentor ?
You can have only one active mentor at a time. To switch to a new Mentor, find the details of the new Mentor and repeat the above steps. When the new mentor accept your application, old mentor will be automatically deactivated for you
Fee for Mentor services
Most of the mentors offer free help and guidance. However, in some cases, mentors are allowed to charge a Fee for their services. dotnetspider.com is not involved in any payment transaction and we are not responsible for the payment and services.
If the mentors charge any fee, they are required to publish it in the mentor details page.
Before you offer or make any payment to Mentors, you are strongly adviced to read all reviews on the Mentor by other members and also review his contributions to dotnetspider.com.
