need help

hello abitsmart,
I am ananth from chennai.I am a dotnetspider member I saw your profile in dotnetspider i would like to ask a little help from you .my situation is as follows:
I am a 2006 passout from anna university (i studied in madurai which is in southern part of tamilnadu ).
I did a course in .net on jan 2007 .I have to honestly confess i did not concentrate on my course .
when I finished my course I started looking for job as my knowledge level is not at par
I could not get through any interviews .Then on june 2008(after trying for 1 and 1/2 years )
i joined in a company through recommendation.I thought I could get any projects there,
nothing happened ever since.I am sitting on the bech for the last year and 4 months .
Since there is no scope of getting any projects in that company, I had prepared a resume
like I had 2 years of experience by putting some dummy projects
( i have to say my knowledge level had improved in asp.net ,c#,ms-sql).
As an experienced professional in this field ,
I would be happy if you can guide me like
1) how to approach my situation
2)since people are asking me what i did for the last 3 years I am forced to put to some
dummy projects an fake experience
.what are the knowledge level expected for a 2 year experieced developer.
Is there anyway i can get a .Net job?.
I am sorry for the inconvienience.Kindly consider my situation sir,I wont expect you to
help me on the job front.I only want the guidance from you on how to approach my situation
