Job Description
Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000/7 database and ability to understand data models.
Proficient knowledge of DTS (Data Transformation Services)
Highly proficient in T-SQL, ability to create, maintain and enhance T-SQL scripts for ad-hoc reporting. (Very important)
Ability to create ETL scripts using T-SQL for data manipulation. (Very important)
Understanding of Performance Optimization techniques in MS SQL Server.
Strong Analytical skills and Attention to detail is a must.
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
Expert Knowledge of MS Excel
Pluses:
Database administration.
Understanding of Backup and Recovery, Replication.
Experience with Market Research or Statistical background.
