Career Guidance

Hi!
I am pursuing my B.Tech final year in Computer Science. I have maintained a good percentage till now but I feel that I am far behind in my technical skills(which I am trying hard to improve). I have a keen interest in web technologies.

Actually I have always lacked a proper guidance.
Can anyone suggest me what can I do to grab a good job?

If you have your basics clear you should not have a problem getting a job. I guess you would be doing a final year project as part of your curriculum so, be sure you are confident in the technology being used in it.

just go today and purchase a good book and start building you skills in technical field too. If you are interested in .net i suggest you to buy Self paced training kit by Microsoft for MCTS 70-536. So that you can enhance your skills and also appear in MCTS exam because this certificate is really valuable.

1.Try to do some freelancing work in your interesting technology like .net
2.Try to write free online exams like brain bench certification
3.Complete MCP,MCTS certifications.
4.Try to be active in community activities.
5.Contact if you need more info on mock interview options.
6. Remember proofs are very imp for every interview. See that you have enough certifications in hand.
