Hi,

Can anyone tell me whatz the difference between component(COM) and a webservices in asp.net.

hi,
component is a .NET project that is compiled into a DLL; it consists of .cs or .vb class files primarily, .resx files, etc. It doesn't have any runnable interface; doesn't have an ASP.NET pages, etc.

webservice is reside on server and you access that service remotly in your page whenever COM you can add in your project .
