Hi all,
I am developing the web part that will show the chart.but for that MS chart control we need the datasource of sql server.now i have designed some infopath forms & deployed in sharepoint site on my url.what happens the sharepoint created the content database for all forms.I want to show a chart on the basis of the data of these forms. but data is in content database. So i need to fetch the data from sharepoint content database & assign to chart ( with some properties).

Is this possible? how .. please guide me .....

Yes...Its possible
Steps to Follow

Step1:

Create a web service to make calls contentDB as you cannot interact with DB directly from a Infopath form

Step2 :

Now Create a rule where you can add the web service method which returns the Data to your rule.

in fact what i have to write in web service to connect the sharepont content database? Actually i am developing webpart from VS 2008 + c#. Infopath is use for design purpose only.
And what is rule?
