Dotnet frame work will run in Linux platform

Hi fnd's,
I need to know,can we able to install visual studio 2005/08 software in Linux (fedora 7/9 or Red hat)

No it can't be installed on Linux platform. It can only be installed in Windows platform. We hope in future Microsoft provide facilities to support different platforms in .NET.

You can't install VS 2005/ 2008 in Linux. But there is a platform available in Linux, similar to .Net, called Mono. You can get more information in Mono-Project.com website. It also got its own development tool / IDE called MonoDevelop.
