Silver light is supported by
Vs 2008 and above
in order to work on silver light here are the softwares you need to install.
VS 2008
Microsoft Expression Blend
.NET frame work 3.5 and above
Silverlight Developer tool kit (To develop Silverlight applications)
Silverlight Browser plugins (To run the application on the Browsers)
