Mobile application not getting insert into database(.sdf)

hi,
I have developed an pocket PC application ,I'm able to retrieve all the values from database(.sdf),but when I'm trying to insert or update it is not commiting
is there any other ways to do..

and also how to retrieve data from regular sqlserver database data using webservice to a mobile application

Can you share the code. Because it is same as SQL Server there is no difference in SQL CE and SQL Server for this commands.
