Is learning Php/my sql useful for a dotnet programmer.kindly advice

Learning something always helps you. I don't think learning PHP/MYSQL will help in .Net Programming.

hey php&mysql is diff 4m .net k..it won't help..php&mysql is open source
...net is not a open source..
