Code problem in Internet Explorer

I've given the following snippet in my page

its a simple page to link to Google anywhere we click on the table

Can you please read the title? The problem is in IE. Please check your code in IE. Its not working.

Just try running the code in IE7. The link is not getting rendered.

you have done the link to google.com on table itself.
its working... whats the problem please tell..

Strange. In which browser are you guys running this code? Run it in IE7 or IE8. The link is not working correctly. When i click the link is not getting invoked. Even the hand symbol (for link) is not coming when i mouse over it.
