Few moments with Phani Harshitha -- DotNetSpider MVM

Posted Date: 24 May 2009      Posted By: Raghav      Member Level: Gold     Points: 1   Responses: 12

Hello DNS'ians,

Phani Harshitha M. is a Diamond member who joined DNS on 12th November, 2008. She is working as ASP.NET developer for the past two years at ETHAMES TECH PVT.LTD at Hyderabad. She is an active member of DotNetSpiser and has been providing good answers to the questions in the forum. She was awarded with DotNetSpider MVM award recently in April, 2009.

We had an interview with her to get her views on DotNetSpider and her message to DotNetSpider members. Here is the interview we had with her.

Please tell us about yourself?

I am Phani Harshitha Madala ,a Btech(EEE) graduate from Nagarjuna University working as ASP.NET developer for the past 2 years in Hyderabad.

How did you get into DotNetSpider community?

I am an active participant in forums of daniweb and asp.net in that process I came to know about dotnetspider.com

What motivated you to contribute in DotNetSpider?

ASP.NET forums have helped me in my struggling period as a fresher and motivated to reach more people who are in need.

How much time do you spend on Technical communities to help
others?

Nearly 15-20 hours in a week.

How are you balancing your Work life with your contribution in Technical Communities?

I can say only one thing “When there is a will there is a way”.

Please share with us your journey of becoming an DNS-MVM?

The journey has been very exciting as I had a chance to solve different problems which I never tried before and gained knowledge on asp.net. I feel there is still more to learn and help others. This honor as a MVM is really inspiring and increases my responsibility to provide good and informative answers. Taking this opportunity I would like to thank all the DNS team for their support and Mr.Satish Kumar J for referring me to this award.

Few words about DotNetSpider?

Dotnerspider provides a good platform for all the users to learn a lot about asp.net and to help others by resolving their issues. It also understands the developer needs and considers members opinions to start or implement new features which I find is the uniqueness of www.dotnetspider.com. It encourages members to enhance their ability in writing articles, code snippets etc and provides members free space to start their own community. What else can we ask for?

What are your career goals?

To be an asp.net project manager with 100 people under me.

Best moment in DotNetSpider tenure?

When I got “Most Valuable Member” award. It was a moment of surprise and happiness.

Any message to technologists and suggestions to make DotNetSpider as World's number one Technical Site?

Dotnetspider.com definitely has the potential to be world’s no 1 technical site and I wish it would be in the near future .My suggestion would be to mark the status as solved for threads whose problem is solved so that other members would not waste time on that thread and concentrate on other threads.

Hope this interview will be useful to all members.

Thank you

Raghav
Web Master
