Posted Date: 24 May 2009      Posted By: Raghav      Member Level: Gold     Points: 1   Responses: 11

Hello DNS'ians,

Danasegarane
is a senior Diamond member who is also an MVP awardee and got the award in the year 2009 (1st January, 2009). Danasegarane has joined DotNetSpider on 21st March, 2007. He was awarded with DotNetSpider MVM award recently in April, 2009.

We had an interview with him to get his views on DotNetSpider and his message to DotNetSpider members. Here is the interview we had with him.

Please tell us about yourself?

I work as a Software Engineer with Solid Solutions, Chennai. Prior to this he was working with Integra Software Service, Pondicherry. He has been working on Microsoft .Net Technologies like - C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, VB and SQL Server since the last 3 years.

How did you get into DotNetSpider community?

I came to this ocean through the search Google search engine

What motivated you to contribute in DotNetSpider?

Normally I am very much interested contributing to online forum which helps me to share my knowledge and gain the knowledge from others.

How much time do you spend on Technical communities to help
others?

Normally I spend an hour a day

How are you balancing your Work life with your contribution in Technical Communities?

I would extend the working timings to an hour to compensate the hours spent on the forums

Please share with us your journey of becoming an DNS-MVM?

It’s my pleasure to become on DNS-MVP. Normally I contribute the DNS with appropriate answers rather than posting something.

Few words about DotNetSpider?

DNS is the one of the ideal place where the developers can get your technical question answered promptly. Leading Technical web resource for Developers

What are your career goals?

Preserve the MVP award. To be reputed member in my domain

Best moment in DotNetSpider tenure?

DNS-MVP Award and Won the Monthly C# Book on April 2008

Any message to technologists and suggestions to make DotNetSpider as World's number one Technical Site?

I would suggest you the following things.

1. Advice the editors to reply promptly on the forums topics. Presently I am not getting any such replies.
2. I would suggest going for better GUI. The present GUI is not the better one. There should some options like better navigation, organized items.
3. Better moderation Control
4. More Resource evaluation.

Hope this interview will be useful to all members.

Thank you

Raghav
Web Master
