Posted Date: 21 May 2009      Posted By: Raghav      Member Level: Gold     Points: 1   Responses: 12

Hello DNS'ians,

Anil Kumar Pandey is the senior Diamond member who joined DNS on 28th June, 2007. He is currently working as Software Engineerwith Green Point Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai since the past 3 years. He was awarded with DotNetSpider MVM award recently in April, 2009.

We had an interview with him to get his views on DotNetSpider and his message to DotNetSpider members. Here is the interview we had with him.

Please tell us about yourself?

My self Anil Kumar Pandey, I did my BCA & MCA from steel City Bhilai ChhatishGarh. And currently Working as a System Architect in Green Point Technology Services (India) Ltd.

I started my developer carrier 6 year ago when i finished my Graduation. I started from C and C++ after that i started working on VB 6.0, currently i am having 3+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies. I enjoy working on .NET.

How did you get into DotNetSpider community?

I joined the DNS in June 2007, while searching some thing in the inter net i saw this site , and I created my account in this site. For some time I was not active here, but whenever I get time I used to surf this site for many articles and good code snipets

What motivated you to contribute in DotNetSpider?

As I am helpful in nature, I always used to help those people who are in need. In my college days I used to participate in group studies where me and my friends share there knowledge, and that help us a lot. My best friend Mr. Abdul Javed Khan, Mr. Vinod Yadav,Mr.Manoj Verma, Mr. Chetan Desai & Mr. Chetan Akarte always inspired me to help others, so I thought to help others, DNS provides me a medium for this good work, so I started answering in the forum, this also help me to refresh my knowledge. DNS is a very good medium of sharing and gaining the knowledge in this rapidly changing technology world.

How much time do you spend on Technical communities to help
others?

There is no such time limit, but whenever I get time from my routine work and from office I used to spend time in serarching the new things in the inter net and answering in the technical forum. Usually I spent more than 25 hours in a week for technical forum and articles.

How are you balancing your Work life with your contribution in Technical Communities?

Finding time for the technical community depends on the person that how he/she manages both. As I said I will try to find some time from my work life and there is always a possibility to have some time, we just need to manage that. Try to finish the work as soon as possible and utilize the remaining time for this good work.

Please share with us your journey of becoming an DNS-MVM?

I remember every recognition given by DNS. In August, 2008 when I got my first "Member of the Week Award", I was very happy, I have shown the name to all my friends and to my family all were very happy as I can see from their face. So I decided to contribute more towards this site so whenever I was free I just participated in the Technical community and from there I got so many awards from DNS including "Member of the Month", "Member of the Year", "Best Forum Supportee Answer" and the "Most Valuable Member". Each award encourages me to participate more because not only you will refresh your knowledge you will make a lot of friends also. I have made a lot of friends from this site who are in regular touch with me.

Few words about DotNetSpider?

DNS is one of the leading Microsoft technical site in the world which helps not only the Beginner or the freshers but the experience people as well. The different sections of this site like resource, Interview Question, Job, Poll and may more help every one to find the good answers of their questions. This site is also providing a medium for peoples who want to share there knowledge and help others. Many thanks to DNS.

What are your career goals?

From my childhood I always wanted to so some thing new, thats why I choose this technical field and started my carrier in software development, I want to do something creative for this technical world, now the journey is going on lets see where I can reach but I am sure that one day people will recognize me by my name and by my work to this Technical world.

Best moment in DotNetSpider tenure?

All the time which I have spent in DNS is the best moment for me but I would like to mention some few moment when I saw my self on the top of the world that are, When I get my first award from this site and when I became the Most valuable Member. :)

Any message to technologists and suggestions to make DotNetSpider as World's number one Technical Site?

I just want to say to the others technologist that keep helping and keep contrinuting this will help you also, do not wait for any award or any recognisition if you keep contributing , the award will automatically come towards you.
